Bridging the Wave is a project led by our station team, where we explore other independent radio stations across the globe. The goal is to foster international collaboration, enrich our radio output, and learn from different cultural and creative contexts. Independent stations—both in the UK and abroad—often operate in silos. Through this project, we aim to build meaningful connections from Manchester to the rest of the world, creating a global network of creative collaborators and shared broadcast opportunities.
DJ Yodai is a genre-fluid selector with deep roots in the European underground scene, having played in cities like Berlin and London. His mixes have been featured on platforms such as Oroko Radio and Refuge Worldwide. Beyond DJing, he is the founder of the creative collective TEIRA and the fashion brand EDDN, both dedicated to celebrating individuality and cultural crossover.
