XUNA began her career as a DJ in 2022 in the club scene of Sendai, Japan. With roots in hip-hop, reggae, and dancehall, her unique style and groove—drawing inspiration from a wide range of genres—captivate dance floors wherever she plays.
In 2023, she joined the all-female crew “Sisterhood,” founded by singer Yayoi Daimon. That October, the crew successfully hosted an event in South Korea. In February 2024, as a member of Sisterhood, she performed at SXSW, the globally renowned music festival held in Austin, Texas, steadily expanding her presence both in Japan and abroad.
Alongside her individual appearances at diverse events regardless of genre, she also showcases her multifaceted talent as a model—featured in lookbooks for numerous brands, including Levi’s—making her a prominent figure in the fashion scene as well.
