Bridging the Wave is a project from our station team exploring independent radio scenes around the world to spark creative exchange and global collaboration. In Episode 1, we connect Manchester with Tokyo—meeting TSUBAKI FM and Canteen Studios to learn about their journeys, voices, and impact on Japan’s underground radio culture.
As part of the exchange, both stations are taking over Reform Radio with interviews, guest shows, and mixes. Tsubaki's resident FU. A DJ, radio host & party organiser from Tokyo delivers a fun, summer appropriate mix for Reform Radio’s TSUBAKI fm takeover.
