Caro C will join Tukatz on the show this time to talk about her own work and musical influences, particularly her inspiring work with Manchester based organisation www.deliaderbyshireday.com , celebrating the work of Delia Derbyshire (1937-2001) – a pioneer of experimental and groundbreaking electronic music in England from the 1960’s.
If you are not yet familiar with Delia, then just listen to the original Doctor Who theme music, and there is your introduction… but there is SOOOOO much more to Delia, as Caro will tell you ! Its very exciting!
Caro herself has been described by Max Reinhardt as a “spoken word sonic enchantress" and I can't put it better than that. Her work is truly dreamlike. A VERY talented lady.
The usual eclectic mish mash will be letter D based artists and tunes, which Tukatz will stick to as much as poss, but also bringing some Delia inspired gems into the mix for this special show.
