Born and raised in Decatur, Georgia, Yung Baby Tate dove into music early. The daughter of Grammy-winning rapper Dionne Farris (of Arrested Development), Yung Baby Tate played piano at age 10, attended a performing arts school and sang in church choir — by middle school she was making beats on GarageBand. Yung Baby Tate followed her first EP, 2015's _ROYGBIV_, with a number of EPs and singles like "Dope D," which earned her an opening slot for raunch kween CupcakKe in Atlanta. She joins Lawrence Burney in the studio to fill us in on why her fans are called Tater Tots, what it was like attending the Grammys in the womb, and much more.
