Dajuan Cannady always thought rap would be a hobby and sports his profession; a dedicated and talented football and basketball player, he eventually decided that music was his true calling. He adopted a childhood nickname, YBS Skola, as his moniker, and recorded his first music at age 17 with friends who happened to be engineers. Several years later, his track "Shinning," produced with Baltimore producer Elijah808, became a runaway success. He comes through this week's True Laurels to discuss his upbringing and share what's next for him.
