For this episode we are looking into minimal music from the late '70s and '80s. During this time period there was a lot of interest in minimal music as a new form of expression, and while there was heavy Western influence, Japanese musicians had their own angle. The Japanese sounds that are currently gaining attention from around the world have roots in the minimal music from this era.
