Kemar Woodfine, AKA Kemar Highcon, was born in Kingston, but grew up in Bridge View Portmore, Jamaica. He knew music was in his blood and soul from an early age, falling in love with the likes of Buju Banton, Bounty Killer, Assassin/Agent Sasco and others. In his teens he relocated to New York City, where he further developed his love for Jamaican music and his drive to become a household-name reggae-dancehall artist. His 2016 single “Oh Gosh” put him on the path, and his newest single, “So Saucy,” is a dance hit making the rounds. On this week’s episode of the Federation Sound, Kemar Highcon stops by for an interview with Max Glazer — we’ll also hear music from legends Kranium & Alkaline.
