Merging afrobeats, soca, EDM and hip-hop with the various strains of traditional Caribbean music, Busy Signal has carved out his sound and platform as one of Jamaica’s household names. He broke out with his record "Step Out," and continued churning out hits — now internationally known, his collaborative tracks with the likes of No Doubt, Major Lazer, and Damian and Stephen Marley all spread his sound, lyricism and name. In the last few years, Busy Signal has turned to philanthropic work through his Busy 2020 Helping Hands foundation, which works to improve the overall standard of living of Jamaican people through health and education. We’ll get into all this, and a couple live freestyles, on this week’s episode of the Federation Sound.
