Lauren Flax is a unique force in the house and techno sphere. Born and raised in Detroit, Flax moved to Brooklyn years ago and has always been an active part of the shapeshifting New York underground. Across her extensive discography, her output includes remixes for Peaches and They Might Be Giants, original tracks with Sia and Tricky and a plethora of her own solo productions. The past year she's turned back to her Detroit roots with an EP, _Dance Trax Vol. 16_ on DJ Haus’ Unknown To The Unknown label, and a Tigga Calore collaboration on Allergy Season’s compilation _Physically Sick 2_. On this episode, Bryan Kasenic invites his longtime friend Lauren Flax in to celebrate her latest three-track EP, coming out on the Bunker NY in April 2019.
