Over the next two hours you'll hear session players getting lost in their own world of sound, during a time when ensembles and orchestras were given the freedom to be creative in the studio, conjuring up everything from TV show theme songs to acid freakout parties. And with the introduction of synths and the influence of Giorgio Moroder, it’s not a far stretch from some of these tracks to the acid and techno that would emerge about a decade later.
