Applications are now open for the Red Bull Music Academy 2011, which will head to Japan in autumn. To get things rolling, we're presenting a new exclusive mix from a former Academy participant every week from now until the end of the application period. This week, Dutch DJ/producer and one half of duo 360, Patrice Bäumel, brings an exceptional selection of off-kilter cuts that have informed his subtle, highly idiosyncratic take on house music: from vintage meditation music and drum solos, to electronic jazz classics and his own remix of Cyrus Shahrad's epic Sightless.
