Applications are now open for the Red Bull Music Academy 2011 in Japan. To get things rolling, we're presenting a new exclusive mix from a former Academy participant every week from now until the end of the application period. This week’s cloudcast takes the form of an expert bass session from class of ’08, Desto. With his trademark deep dubstep sound and regular releases on Ramp, this Helsinki-based producer/DJ has been getting love from the likes of Joker, Blackdown and Top Billin for a short minute now. This mix sees him rummaging through some of the most exciting tunes to recently emerge from post-dubstep wonderland, including his own collaboration with Finnish national treasure Jimi Tenor for DJ Oneman’s 502 label.
