Red Bull Music Odyssey – Larry Heard on The Forever Dancer

Larry Heard is without a doubt, one of house music's most influential artists. Born on the South Side of Chicago and raised on Motown and jazz, Heard began his musical journey as a drummer before acquiring a Roland TR-707 and recording "Mystery Of Love" in 1984 as Mr. Fingers. The legendary producer would go on to inspire generations of musicians with his warm and passionate compositions such as the iconic "What About This Love" or "Burning 4 You". *Can You Feel It*, his 1986 release, is widely considered one of the first deep house records and one of the greatest dance records of all time. Heard would go on to release more highly acclaimed records such as the *Sceneries Not Songs* series and *Dance 2000* series and has seen his international touring schedule become as busy as ever. In this session he drops by the UK capital for a live set with Mr White aboard Denis Sulta's "Forever Dancer".
