Red Bull Music Odyssey: Kamaal Williams and Moses Boyd on The Boogie

The last few years have seen a jazz renaissance in the UK, due in part to drummer-turned-keyboardist Kamaal Williams (AKA Henry Wu) and Moses Boyd. Boyd is a percussionist and producer who performs solo and with his band, the Exodus. He also runs the Exodus label, releasing his instant-classic Rye Lane Shuffle EP. With his jazz-fusion releases on 22A, Rhythm Section International and Eglo Records, Williams is one of the most exciting musicians in South London in his own right. In this session Williams and Boyd perform live for the first time with a stellar group of musicians comprised of 22a Music label head Tenderlonious, Pete Martin, rising star guitarist Mansur Brown, trumpet player Lily Carassik and American vocalist Peven Everett on The Boogie, the boat they've curated as part of the Red Bull Music Odyssey.
