Red Bull Music Odyssey – DJ Semtex (History of UK Rap Set) on The Wave

DJ Semtex is an award-winning English DJ, author and presenter for BBC Radio 1Xtra's flagship hip-hop show and Spotify's Who We Be podcast. His beginnings were in pirate radio but fast-forward two decades and Semtex has rocked the stage at major festivals; appeared as the opening DJ for hip-hop stars Kanye West, the Wu-Tang Clan and J Cole; and toured with Dizzee Rascal, Nas, Rick Ross and Travis Scott. In this session, the UK hip-hop heavyweight throws it down on Steel Banglez' The Wave, as part of the Red Bull Music Odyssey.
