For the better part of two years, RBMA's Jefferson "Chairman" Mao and Jordan Rothlein have been coproducing and curating Counter Intelligence, Red Bull Radio's documentary series chronicling some of the world's best record stores. If the pair were vinyl fiends before, the task of putting together the show each week has only made matters worse — diving into the musical selections of the planet's most dedicated collectors has added innumerable titles to their already overflowing want-lists. Jordan is guest-hosting Peak Time today, and he's invited the Chairman to join him in the studio to discuss some of the obscure and wonderful records they've discovered over the course of the last season. Elsewhere, we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Coil's trippy _Time Machines_ album with Drew McDowall, hear a brand-new recording from the inimitable composer Alvin Lucier, explore new music from Nils Frahm and his contemporaries on the electro-acoustic-experimental spectrum and much more.
