This year is shaping up to be a big one for soundtracks – the brightest names in music have not only been writing operas and scoring ballets, but also working on music for both acclaimed indie films and Hollywood blockbusters. Still recovering from Oscars Sunday, we'll go through a recent crop of film soundtracks, including _Annihilation_ by Portishead's Geoff Barrow, Dev Hynes' _Palo Alto_, _Bushwick_ from Aesop Rock and _Phantom Thread_ by Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood. Dublab co-creator and former _LAndscape_ host Frosty joins us from Los Angeles to talk about his new show _Open End_ (Mondays, 2P-4P Eastern), which he calls "your map to music that exists beyond borders," and offers us a globe-trotting playlist for the intrepid sonic traveler.
