Description
All this week Red Bull Radio will focus on the movers and shakers who call Texas home. For today's Peak Time, we're bringing you stories from the past, present and future of the Lone Star State. At the top of the show, we'll listen to a conversation between our trusty correspondent Harley Brown and Kyle Dixon, one-fourth of the analog-synth-happy, horror-film-inspired quartet S U R V I V E (they are the minds behind the infamous _Stranger Things_ theme song). Brown and Dixon get into the band's early days playing punk gigs, the inspiration to their sound and what lies ahead. In the show's second hour, a look at the new documentary _As I Walk Through the Valley_, the untold story of the Chicano music of Texas' Rio Grande Valley. Jezebel staff writer Maria Sherman (reared in Texas herself) and the film's directors Ronnie Garza and Charlie Vela discuss the film and the four decades of music and culture covered within.
