Description
Toyko-born, New York-based Stephen Nomura Schible served as co-producer on Sofia Coppola's Oscar-winning film _Lost in Translation_, and directed and produced the documentary _Eric Clapton: Sessions for Robert J_ for the BBC and PBS. Next week at the Tribeca Film Festival he'll show his latest effort and directorial feature debut: _Ryuichi Sakamoto: Coda_. Centered around the past five years of the pioneering synth musician's life, the documentary tells a tale of creative exultation. Schible will join Vivian today to discuss what five years of filming Sakamoto entailed, plus his inspirations and the lessons he learned along the way.
