New Yorkers Julian Cashwan Pratt, Harlan Steed and Noah Cohen-Corbett exploded forth from the underground as Show Me the Body in 2014. That year the band released its first EP, _Yellow Kidney_, followed by a debut full-length, _Body War_, in 2016. A deep reverence for NYC's complex and diverse sonic palette, coupled with a staunch DIY punk mentality, informs the trio's unique brand of hardcore. Maintaining a punk ethos and defying genres — musically, aesthetically, politically — SMTB is making waves that will ripple into the future. At the end of March, the band will release _Dog Whistle_, an album that the members say "does not belong to a political party," but rather belongs to the "community and anyone who may find shelter within it." Today, Vivian welcomes the band into the studio to discuss the driving force behind their passion and the vast network of like-minded artists they call collaborators and friends.
