Swedish-born, Ethiopian R&B singer Sebastian Mikael grew up with music-obsessed parents who played him Prince, Marvin Gaye, Erykah Badu and Sade. His career has been a wild ride since he left Sweden for Los Angeles at age 17; along the way he's made future R&B, sung rap hooks and acoustic ballads and released an acclaimed debut, _Speechless_, which featured Rick Ross and Teyana Taylor. Mikael has returned with a new label, a futuristic neo soul style and a new two-part EP series called _I C U U C Me_ — he sits down with Vivian to discuss his journey, keeping sounds intimate and studio tips for young artists.
