SADAF is an Iranian producer, violinist and vocalist based in New York City. Her beats and vocal stylings draw from Middle Easterm instrumentation, free jazz, noise, dembow, reggaeton and digital hardcore – a hyper-real blend that looks to the future. The artist discusses her latest EP _SHELL_ (Outside Insight), which explores a young cineaste's failed script and discombobulated thought process, dealing with writer's block and not paying attention to music in order to make her own.
