Over the last few months, the Ecuadorian-Lithuanian DJ has dropped a killer mix for _FACT_, signed to Brooklyn's influential Discwoman collective and launched APOCALIPSIS, a label and creative agency that recently curated and coproduced Boiler Room's first reggaetón showcase. Next month, she'll join Uproot Andy as cohost of Bien Buena, a new monthly Red Bull Radio program dedicated to the ever-evolving world of tropical music. Peak Time guest host Ruth Saxelby has invited Riobamba down to our NYC studio a few weeks ahead of Bien Buena's February 21st premiere to crack open her vault of underground party tracks and other delectables. Speaking of next-level club music, CTM gets rolling this week in Berlin, and Ruth will spend a bit of today's broadcast teasing some of the weekend's most exciting and challenging showcases.
