It's all about vinyl today in honor of Record Store Day, which is this Saturday, April 21st. To start, we welcome Brooklyn mastering engineer, Josh Bonati, whose credits include Zola Jesus, Mac DeMarco, The Men, The Soft Moon, Pharmakon, Omar-S, HEALTH, Amen Dunes, RVNG Records, DIIV, Pictureplane, Dais Records and the list goes on. Bonati chats about his custom-built Carroll Gardens studio and the ins and outs of vinyl cutting and mastering in this digital age. We'll then hear from Record Store Day co-founder and manager Michael Kurtz, taking us through this year's highlights (including the special releases only available at your favorite local shops) and his top moments from RSD's last 11 years.
