To call Peder Mannerfelt just a techno and house producer is an oversimplification of this varied and prolific artist's output. True, he got his start releasing fairly straight-forward minimal techno records as The Subliminal Kid, but it wasn't long before he began exploring the physical and abstract limits of dance music. He pushed ambient music to the extremes as one half of Roll the Dice and today he blends genres to form physically demanding dance music that oscillates between murky techno, glistening electro, and dystopic sci-fi at all times. Spending most of 2017 working on Fever Ray's album, Mannerfelt spent 2018 releasing numerous EPs, a slew of singles, and his latest album _Daily Routine_, the follow up to his critically acclaimed 2016 album, _Controlling Body_. Today he calls Vivian up from Stockholm to talk about how running his label, Peder Mannerfelt Produktion, and how he maintains such a blistering release schedule.
