Noah Lennox, co-founder and chief lyricist of experimental trio Animal Collective, released his debut solo album as Panda Bear in 1999, a year before AnCo's debut. In the two decades since, Lennox has explored sound with a nomadic curiosity, forging an experimental musical path all his own. On today's show, Lisbon-based Lennox joins Vivian in our New York studio to talk about the creation of _Buoys_ – his aqueous , hyper-modern follow up to 2015's _Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper_ – with collaborator Rusty Santos (who worked on 2007’s _Person Pitch_).
