Today’s show is all about music technology. NAMM, the yearly trade show dedicated to all thing music tech, just wrapped yesterday in Anaheim, California. We’re getting a report about the good, the bad and the futuristic from David Abravanel, a curator and writer who was also at the show representing Sensel and SoundRadix. _Peak Time_ correspondent Jordan Rothlein then looks into the future of music and technology with Peter Kirn, a musician and media artist who also runs the Create Digital Music web portal. Also, we’re celebrating the 50th anniversary of the start of two radical synth companies: Oberheim, run by Tom Oberheim, and EMS, run by Peter Zinovieff. Starting in 1969, they've crafted synthesizers, sequencers and drum machines that changed the course of electronic music forever. Plus, tons of new music and music news! Groovy!
