It’s a packed day for our Friday live from Sónar as we welcome artists from three disparate cities, repping their hometown sounds. From London, Vivian welcomes Mumdance (AKA Jack Adams), a producer and DJ who’s notorious for a sound that draws from grime, techno, experimental sound design, hardcore and more. Mumdance has had a prolific career with releases on XL, Fabric, Mad Decent and many more, and collabs with many of London’s finest such as Novelist, Micachu and Logos. At Sónar he’ll pair up with Detroit’s DJ Stingray for a back-to-back DJ set. Coming in from Stockholm is RBMA alumni Kornél Kovács, Axel Boman and Pedrodollar, AKA Studio Barnhus. Nearly ten years ago the trio formed Studio Barnhus as a home for their version of feel-good house, and since then they’ve become one of Sweden’s most recognizable studios and electronic labels.
