Today kicks off our week dedicated to Culture Clash Atlanta 2018. To prep for the impending event, Peak Time will host interviews with the leaders of this year's participating crews — up first is dancehall king and leader of the Frequent Flyers, Kranium. From Montego Bay to Jamaica, Queens, Kranium has been bringing the Caribbean sound to a larger audience, placing dancehall on the global stage. Since his 2013 breakout single "Nobody Has to Know" (featuring Ty Dolla $ign), which earned him a label deal with Atlantic, he's continued to bridge the gap between reggae and dancehall and spread the gospel of the music. Later in the show we'll welcome this year's Culture Clash host, radio personality Angela Yee. Best known as the host for Power 105.1's syndicated morning show The Breakfast Club, alongside DJ Envy and Charlamagne tha God, Yee's career has included stints at Eminem’s Shade 45, Sirius XM Satellite Radio, MTV and VH1, as well as taking on managing duties at Wu-Tang Management.
