This Saturday Kimberly Drew, writer, curator, activist and social media manager at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, will speak with three-time Grammy Award-winning musician, actor and fellow activist Harry Belafonte, as part of Red Bull Music Festival New York. The icon, probably most known for his "Banana Boat Song," was a leading figure in bringing the Caribbean sound to an international stage as well as a formative voice during the Civil Rights Movement alongside Dr. Martin Luther King. Today, Drew will discuss some of his career highlights, the lesser known facts she's discovered in her studies and the wild questions her Twitter followers want asked of Belafonte this weekend.
