Description
Music journalist Thomas Venker — former editor-in-chief of _Intro_, current head of _Kaput Mag_ and curator of the Onitor label — is a longtime fan of Japan, and just got back from five weeks in Kyoto. He presents some of his favorite new tracks from around the country, including new music from Rie Lambdoll (featuring Yoshimi from Boredoms), KPY and Midori Takada, plus some tasty reissues of 1980s synth gold. We'll also hear some brand new music from the US and the UK, plus get a bit of the back story from actress, chanteuse and muse Jane Birkin (most famous for her genre-defining 1960s work with her husband Serge Gainsbourg), upon the imminent release of _Birkin/Gainsbourg: Le symphonique_, her orchestral tribute album to Serge.
