This evening, as part of Tribeca Film Festival, New York duo Holy Ghost! and long-time collaborators Ben Fries and Alden Nusser, will premiere their short film, _Crime Cutz_. The 17 minute, four-part feature is an ode to their hometown, profiling various characters from the past century; a 93-year-old professional dancer and choreographer and his dancer/singer/actress wife, Hustle dance revivalists, an aspiring teenage singer and performer, and an NYC street performer. Peak Time correspondent Harley Brown sits down with the foursome today to get the scoop on how a music video grew into a short film and hear anecdotes from the early days of their friendship. Later Jasamine White-Gluz, founding member and principal songwriter of No Joy, stops in the studio before she embarks on her spring tour with Baths. Eight years into her career the Canadian singer has three albums, on Mexican Summer, and numerous EPs under her belt.
