Jacob "Hodge" Martin is the latest in a long line of exciting artists from Bristol who are driven by their relentless pursuit of futurism via bassline explorations and hypnotic electronic drum rhythms. Affiliated with local labels like Punch Drunk, Livity Sound and Hemlock, Hodge acknowledges the lineage of the hardcore continuum (dubstep, drum 'n' bass, UK garage) in his own brand of cheeky, moody techno.
