George Fitzgerald has been chugging away on his own productions since 2010 , exploring nuanced and lush combinations of UK garage, dubstep and deep house on labels like Hotflush, Hypercolour and Aus. In more recent times, he's applied this club knowledge beyond the dancefloor, delicately crafting romantic electronic pop out of the building blocks of UK bass and Berlin techno. Before the March 9 release of his new album, _All That Must Be_, on Domino Records, Vivian talks with Fitzgerald about cutting his teeth behind the counter at London's infamous Black Market, his favorite music and the ideas that have informed his new record. Also on today's show: Vivian picks another obscure cut on Viv's Picks and new music from around the world.
