Growing up of Senegalese-Gambian heritage in Sweden, the now London-based songstress Fatima Bramme-Sey was surrounded by the rhythmic beats of West Africa and the shiny, earnest electro-pop of her adoptive home, sounds that continue to permeate the R&B music she makes as Fatima. Four years ago she released her critically acclaimed debut, _Yellow Memories_, which features on the album alongside Theo Parrish and Anderson .Paak producer Knxwledge, on the eclectic London label Eglo). The standout record earned her high praise from Gilles Peterson and _Rolling Stone_, and was subsequently re-issued by the legendary Blue Note Records. This September she returned with her eagerly awaited sophomore LP, _And Yet It's All Love_, a personal exploration into the lifecycle of a relationship, echoing its ups and downs through sonic undulations over funky basslines, snapping synths and melancholic melodies.
