Kicking off our Sónar programming live from Barcelona, *Peak Time* correspondent Julian Brimmers talks to two RBMA alumni – art-pop icon Angel Deradoorian (previously of Dirty Projectors) and Moscow's synth-pop experimenter Kate NV (Kate Shilonosova) – about their new project Decisive Pink. The duo rcombine their pop takes — Deradoorian's ritualistic vocals and freeform songwriting, Shilonosova's ’80s J-pop and glossy melodies — to form a new project partially recorded in NYC and Cologne and inspired by Moebius and CAN. They will perform as Decisive Pink for the first time ever this week on the SónarDome stage and Brimmers got the scoop. Also on today's show, Yumi Mannarelli catches up with several participants of RBMA's BassCamp session that went down last week at Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, Tennessee. Learn more about seven of the United States' most exciting up-and-coming artists, including Baltimore's Abdu Ali, L.A.
