Peak Time – Dave Harrington, Sophia Brous and MUTEK SF’s Miro Wiesner

Producer and multi-instrumentalist Dave Harrington – who many will know as one half of Darkside alongside Nicolas Jaar – and musician, composer, vocalist, musical director and curator Sophia Brous have collaborated numerous times over the years. On May 11, the duo present *Dream Machine* – an immersive event inspired by a landmark hallucinogenic invention by psychedelic Beat heroes Bryon Gysin and William Burroughts – as part of Red Bull Music Festival New York. The event will combine high-intensity strobes, immersive lighting and ceiling projections with a live dream soundtrack performed by an exceptional, once-in-a-lifetime gathering of music luminaries, including The Master Musicians of Jajouka (led by Bachir Attar,) industrial pioneer Genesis Breyer P-Orridge of Psychic TV, British cellist and electronic producer Oliver Coates, drummer Greg Fox and more. Harrington and Brous appear on *Peak Time* for a behind-the-scenes chat about the event paired with some heady music.
