Over the last three decades, Belgian-born, L.A.-based cinematographer Danny Hiele has worked with some of the biggest names in music to create visual identities to their chart-toppers. Though he's worked on numerous films and award-winning commercials, you've likely seen his work in the music realm: he manned the camera on Flying Lotus' psychedelic shock film _Kuso_ and Eddie Alcazar‘s _FUCKKKYOUUU_ short, as well as acting as Director of Photography on music videos from Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Marilyn Manson, Skrillex and Frank Ocean. We call Danny up to talk about developing his signature dark and moody style and bringing musicians and directors' visions to life.
