Cold Cave is the solo project of musician and poet Wesley Eisold. Emerging out of the ashes of hardcore bands like Some Girls and American Nightmare, Wes started Cold Cave as a solo electronic project that was an antidote to the tyranny of teamwork, guitars and emo scene politics. With albums like 2009’s _Love Comes Close_ and 2011’s _Cherish the Light Years_, he was one of the first to herald the current gothwave revival with his mix of dark synths, brooding vocals and drama in black sunglasses. Performing tonight at Brooklyn Steel alongside Psychic TV, Adult. and Vowws, Wes comes on _Peak Time_ to talk "Promised Land," finding inspiration, his no-rules release schedule and L.A. noir.
