Today is all about Dublin record label and shop All City Records. French beatmaker Onra calls in to discuss his latest release, _Nobody Has to Know_. On his fifth album for All City, Onra again is under the spell of '80s and '90s R&B, New Jack Swing, boogie and funk jams, using their loose-limbed grooves to soundtrack the passions of attraction. We also call up Cork, Ireland collector and archivist John Byrne, whom All City enlisted to help anthologize rare Irish punk-funk, proto-electro and boogie from the late '70s and early '80s. The results appear on the oddly addictive _Quare Groove Vol. 1_compilation, and Byrne explains how the political and social climate of the time influenced the music plus more fun facts about bands like Natural Wild and Micro Disney. Plus, we'll hear some older releases from All City and some new music news.
