On the Floor – Ziur b2b Air Max ’97 at Red Bull Music Festival Berlin

As a DJ, Ziúr has gone on tour with electroclash and avant-pop queen Peaches, and runs the *BOO HOO* party in her current home of Berlin. As a producer, she’s remixed Peaches (again), but her own sound is another beast entirely. On her *Taiga* and *Deeform* EPs, released in 2016 on the Infinite Machine and Objects Limited labels respectively, she draws swords, splicing apart grime, techno, noise and the extremities of club-focused percussive beats, and creating a very particular musical universe of her own. Air Max ’97 (AKA Oliver van der Lugt), is a nomadic producer whose oblique club tracks draw from a global well of influences. His debut album _Nacre_, came out via his own DECISIONS imprint earlier this summer. In this session, the two - who are friends and frequent collaborators - perform a back to back set of epic proportions at the closing night of the Red Bull Music Festival and RBMA in Berlin.
