The duo of Pininga & DJ Whey have been spearheading São Paulo's underground music scene for a while now, and their mixture of catastrophic bass and club sounds have found a cult following. It's perhaps ironic that their horror movie and disembodied aesthetic is also designed to create a safe space in clubland — for the times we live in, that kind of security is needed now more than ever.
