Memphis' Tommy Wright III is the real deal. In the early '90s he made a name for himself in the city's burgeoning gangsta rap scene through his fast paced rap style, distinct voice, brutal lyrics and self-produced background beats. His status in the underground rap scene was further fueled by his collaboration with Blackhaven's DJ Paul (who would go on to produce for Three 6 Mafia), as well as by his involvement in the rap group Ten Wanted Men. After a quiet period in the early 2000s, Wright III resurfaced in 2016 with a limited tape release titled *NASHVILLE TAKEOVER*.
