Since the late ’90s, this Michigan stalwart has been responsible for a startling array of electronic music under a variety of monikers. His earliest exploits as Soundmurderer skewed toward dark, brooding jungle, while his acid-tinged house and techno as Osborne has found a steady home on Ghostly International's Spectral Sound imprint. Over the years, he’s built up an impressive fleet of vintage gear, dipping his toes into numerous other styles along the way: acid, jacking house, booty bass and electro. More recently, he’s been dropping releases under his own name for labels like Running Back and Blueberry while refusing to tie himself to any sound or style. That goes for his Red Bull Radio show Preset as well, which has covered eras and genres including early hardcore rave, New Jack Swing, proto-electro and the beginnings of dubstep. In this session Osborn delights the Movement crowd with his carefully curated selection of bass and breaks.
