On the Floor – Steffi at Red Bull Music Festival Berlin

Dutch DJ, producer and label owner Steffi is a totemic figure in the European electronic scene. A resident at Panorama Bar since 2007, she’s produced a wealth of solo and collaborative music: two solo albums and several EPs and singles, largely for Ostgut Ton; and jointly alongside Martyn (as Doms & Deykers), with René Pawlowitz (as STFSHD) and as part of Third Side, a DJ and production trio with Analogue Cops. Steffi also runs two labels, Klakson and Dolly, with Dolly running two sub-labels in turn, Dolly Dubs and Dolly Deluxe. Through her production work, DJing and label curation, Steffi has become known for a style of techno that draws from her youth — when she hosted raves in the Netherlands — right through to her present-day tastes in deep house, classical and dark techno.
