A few years ago, Silvia Kastel and Wilted Woman were randomly chosen to perform together as part of the Thalamus improv event in Berlin — their live project Shakey was born from this serendipitous meeting. Similarly spontaneous and coincidental is their music, in which experimentation takes the lead. Performing at Red Bull Music Academy's 20th anniversary bash in Berlin, the pair strip back tropical rhythms with drippy oscillator sounds and jumpy, almost-nervous bleeps.
