Having collected reggae and dub vinyl for over 20 years, Queen Majesty has a thorough knowledge of everything low-end and bumping when it comes to Jamaican music. From hauling crates of 45s down to Downtown Top Ranking, the weekly party hosted by the Chicago-born Deadly Dragon Soundsystem that celebrated dub culture and reggae music in New York City, to hosting East Village Radio’s Jamaica Rock show from 2006 till 2014, Queen Majesty has been bringing rare West Indian musical gems to The Big Apple with a flair and passion that’s made her a familiar face in the dance.
