On the Floor – Perera Elsewhere at Red Bull Music Festival Berlin

Perera Elsewhere is a self-taught electronic-music producer whose work has evolved over various multimedia collaborative projects and solo releases. Originally a member of Berlin-based Jahcoozi, a dubby pop group on Ellen Allien’s BPitch Control label, the London-born musician released two albums, *Everlast* in 2013 and 2017's *All of This* on Los Angeles experimental hip-hop label Friends of Friends, where she explored a sensual style of electronic pop with artful twists and a blues underbelly. She's also a seasoned DJ in her own right, making the dancefloor sweat with her killer bass and dancehall selections. In this session, Perera Elsewhere brings her special brand of gutsy DJing to the Bass Union party at the Red Bull Music Festival in Berlin.
