Description
In the words of the boys themselves: "Once upon a time there were two young boys who felt they had something simple and beautiful to say. They wanted to talk of love, joy and being touched by life." Under their common nom de guerre Pachanga Boys, Kompakt staple Superpitcher and Cómeme’s Rebolledo have made it their mission statement to transform the world into a better place. Their weapon of choice is hippie dance, a self-proclaimed genre that is aesthetically rooted in decades of organic club sounds, and contextually in nothing but freedom of mind, speech, and dance. As esoteric and patchouli-soaked this may read - it quite neatly summarizes the unique vision of the boys, and their extended DJ sets and hypnotic intensity definitely put them in a realm of their own.
